Sine Wave Spoon Holder

This is a spoon holder to help keep dirty stir spoons off the counter while cooking. My mother use to have a small plate on the counter for this purpose. I wanted something with a little more nerd. Enter the Sine Wave.

Instructions

Note: On a thingomatic, if you use a raft, the raft will be slightly off the belt if printed at full size. Mine turned out fine doing it.

Hexagonal paper towel holder

Hi guys,

designed this simple nice hexagonal paper towel holder for my kitchen.
Two versions available:

with holes - you want to screw in the holder to the bottom of your cabinet for example
without holes - you want to stick it to the bottom of your cabinet

Roll insertion is done using bending the sides so I recommend printing in PETG because it has more flexibility than PLA. I also included Inserts so you can insert the insert from side in case of shorter rolls or if you dont want to bend the sides you can use this instead. No suports needed.

Minimal roll diameter: 40 mm

Download .3MF, .STL and even .STEP and .F3D(Fusion 360) files for free here:

UPDATE: Insert was upgraded - now snaps in, doesn't fall out and less material is used than before.

Cheers

Luke

you need:

4 wooden rods with a diameter of 4mm and a lenght of:
2x 19mm
2x 16mm

4 screws (just see what screws roughly fit)

2 rubberbands (there should be tention on the mechanism at all times)

Acrylic Tube with an outer diameter of 120mm and an inner of 114mm (you can choose the lenght of the tube. i choose 250mm in the video)

if you want to you can add a rubber ring on the lid. (either print the file i added in TPU or buy one that fits)

the rubber bands are a bit hard to fiddle in on this version, i am sorry about that. (you can see some footage in the video)

UBO - The Universal Bottle Opener (v1)

Download version 2 here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3057772

My mother was diagnosed with Cushing syndrome over a year ago. Along with many other symptoms muscle deterioration is one of them. She has been treated and is on the road to recovery but she is still very weak. She was telling me that she had to go to her neighbors house so they could open up a bottle for her. She had a bottle opener but not one that would fit a large bottle. I went through a few different designs but now I have a working version.

The "Universal Bottle Opener" or "UBO" can open large juice bottles, sports drink bottles, soda bottles, canned drinks, and pop tops!
